Real-time detectors on the highest-impact financial risks: negative markup (pay > bill), pay/bill rate misalignment, and state-level minimum-wage compliance. Every flag includes the dollar impact and a recommended action for human review.
A placement with pay rate higher than bill rate doesn’t throw an error — it throws a margin. A pay rate set $2 above the placement’s bill rate burns through gross profit silently every week until someone catches it. A pay rate below the state minimum wage is a compliance violation that can trigger audits, back-wage claims, and reputational damage. These are the three leaks that deserve real-time detectors, not a month-end report.
Every time a placement, timesheet, or invoice updates in your ATS, the Risk Alert Agent re-evaluates three conditions. Any trigger fires an alert into the Alert Queue with severity, dollar impact, and a recommended action — no action is ever taken on the placement without a human approving it.
Pay rate is greater than or equal to bill rate on an active placement — gross margin is negative or zero.
→ High severity. Hold invoice until reconciled.Pay rate or bill rate on a timesheet doesn’t match the active placement’s configured rate.
→ Medium severity. Open rate dispute ticket.Pay rate is below the federal or state minimum wage applicable to the worksite location.
→ Critical severity. Escalate to compliance + HITL.When you click a Risk Alert in the queue, the drawer opens to show the full picture: placement details, the active rates on your ATS vs. what the timesheet is reporting, the dollar impact per pay cycle and year-to-date, a four-step event timeline (Detection → Notification → Review → Resolution), and a resolve footer with the appropriate action menu.
Common resolutions: Adjust rate in your ATS, Cancel invoice line, Escalate to compliance, Mark false positive. Every resolution writes to the audit log with actor, timestamp, and the state the record was in when the decision was made. Gateway actions (rate updates, invoice holds) are reversible for 7 days.
The Risk Alert Agent is bundled with the Transform tier. Runs continuously; surfaces findings in the Command Center’s Action Queue and the Alert Queue view.
